Attempted Theft

Over the week-end 9/10th May an attempted theft of sleepers was foiled during a routine security check. The would be thieves had sorted out serviceable sleepers from a job lot delivered by Network Rail and stacked them in the car park ready for collection. All serviceable sleepers on police advice have now been spray painted to identify them if a future theft is attempted.
