A team of volunteers installed the main beam for the lever frame on Tuesday, 21st May. Once this job has been completed, work can begin on the floor and above ground sructure'.
At the same time, another team was ballasting the track bed at the west end of platform 1 and laying a 20ft track panel ready for the installation of a buffer stop on Wednesday.
